Selecting a Driver Education School

Maryland's Graduated Learning System

A GUIDE FROM THE MARYLAND MOTOR VEHICLE ADMINISTRATION

Successful completion of a driver education course is one of the requirements for obtaining a Maryland driver's license. These courses are offered through several providers that are licensed by the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA).

No on-line, distance learning or home study courses are licensed, certified or approved by the MVA to provide the Maryland driver education program.

Choosing a driver education school is an important decision. This information will help you evaluate and select the best driver education school for your needs.
